Join us for a citywide celebration to kickoff the Year of Jazz in San Antonio. Sunday in Brackenridge Park: Jazz Family Showcase is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and will include family programming beginning at 2pm and finishing with a performance by the San Antonio Symphony at 7:30pm.
The event will also include the world premiere of the San Antonio Jazz Suite, commissioned by Jazz 91.7 FM and composed by pianist Aaron Prado. Local leaders and luminaries will be on hand with families across the city to celebrate.

NSIDE: The city kicks off the yearlong celebration of KRTU's 10th anniversary with "Sunday in Brackenridge Park: Jazz Family Showcase"
In celebration of the 10th anniversary of Trinity University’s KRTU radio station, the university has partnered with more than 20 nonprofit organizations to stage monthly jazz performances throughout the Year of Jazz: October 2011 – October 2012.
